The renovations to this farmhouse are stunning, and they managed to preserve many of the building's original details. Thanks to its abundance of natural light, this charming Munxar retreat is ideal for finding peace and quiet away from it all.
The three large double bedrooms at Sara's are all attractively furnished with traditional wooden pieces. The rooms are furnished with a closet, a chest of drawers, two nightstands, and a full-length mirror. There are four bathrooms in total, three of which are located on the second floor near the sleeping quarters. A total of three have showers, while one also has a bathtub and a washer and dryer.
A welcoming sitting area greets visitors as they enter this home. Inside, down a short hall, you'll find a full bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, as well as a courtyard with outdoor seating. Sara's living, dining, and kitchen spaces are all open and airy, and they look out over the pool and the beautiful valley views.
Because of its southerly orientation, the pool area enjoys abundant natural light throughout the day. The large deck and pool (with an overflow) are ideal for hosting parties and enjoying sunset barbecues. Overlooking the open space, you will find a large charcoal grill, outdoor sink, dining table and chairs, and sun loungers. Additionally, there is a refreshing open-air shower for your use.
Two bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom, can be found on the ground floor. Another double bedroom, complete with its own private shower, can be found on the upper floor.
Both Sara and Andrea can be rented together to accommodate larger groups who require a total of 7 bedrooms. Each of these homes has a private pool and is connected to the next through a shared courtyard.

Gozo Area Information
Munxar
Munxar is a typical small village on the island of Gozo. It looks out over a gorgeous valley that drops down to Xlendi, a popular and picturesque bay where eating right next to the water is the norm. Just by taking a stroll around Xlendi's rim, you can take in dramatic cliff and sea vistas at any time of the year.
Munxar (pronounced Moon-shar) is a small village of about 700 people located to the south-west of Victoria, the country's capital. The village of Munxar, Malta, gets its name from the visual connotations of its location: a narrow isthmus between the valleys of Ghancija, on the Munxar side, and Xlendi (pronounced Shlen-dee), on the Fontana side. The Maltese word for "Bucksaw" (a saw set in an adjustable H-shaped frame used for sawing firewood on a buck), "Munxar," is derived from this word.
The most interesting part of Munxar is Xlendi Bay, a popular tourist resort and small fishing village in one of the most beautiful locations on the island.
A small bay with golden sands and a line of friendly restaurants where you can lazily enjoy the ambience of the colorful activity of boats and fishermen and kids playing in the sand during the day or the romantic shimmer of moonlight on the sea at night can be found at the end of the winding country roads that lead from the village to the heart of Xlendi, which is itself an attraction. If you're looking for something truly unforgettable, a boat trip is the way to go.
However, in the winter, you can enjoy the unique opportunity to watch the wild energy of crashing waves and churning foam without leaving the comfort of your restaurant. In the second half of August, Xlendi hosts its own feast in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is a time of religious devotion, traditional activities, and fun for all.
