This lovely Gozitan home has been lovingly restored while retaining many of its original features, including a courtyard, a swimming pool, a palm orchard, and a rooftop deck with breath-taking views of the Citadel and the surrounding countryside. Beautiful wooden doors open up into a spacious hallway. Doors off to the right lead to a private courtyard, and outside stone steps go up to the terrace beyond. A lovely double bedroom with its own private bathroom can be found just off this corridor. Continuing along the main hall, you'll find a bathroom and the open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The pool area is easily accessible through the large double patio doors that span the width of the home.

A stone spiral staircase winds upward to a landing with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor: a double with a wet room and a twin with a shower. There is plenty of space for an additional bed in the twin room. Additional bedding options include cots. The town of Ghasri, famous for its red-domed church, is where the home is located. Our Lady of Ta 'Pinu is said to have spoken to a local in 1883, prompting numerous pilgrims to visit the nearby church of ta Pinu. Guests have included Popes John Paul 11 and Benedict XV1. The nearby craft community and the scenic Inland Sea are both within easy driving distance. Victoria, the island's capital, is a short drive away; from its fortified ramparts, visitors can take in breath-taking views in every direction.
